RIMA™ Closed

RIMA: Global Hyperspectral Raman Microscope

The RIMA microscope combines hyperspectral imaging and Raman spectroscopy to deliver comprehensive spectral and spatial data faster than ever before. Unlike traditional point-by-point or line-scan systems, RIMA leverages high-throughput global-imaging filters to create Raman maps over large megapixel-scale fields of view in record time.

This system is ideal for researchers and industries requiring high-speed, high-precision Raman mapping across extensive areas, enhancing efficiency and enabling new insights into complex materials.

RIMA Applications Overview

  • Perform low-dimensional material analyses like graphene and carbon nanotubes.
  • Monitor and analyze biological tissues non-invasively.
  • Intraoperative cancer imaging with SERS nanoparticles.
  • Identify materials (plastic, metals) and characterize their structure (crystallinity, phase, chemical bond, strain, stress).

CIMA™

CIMA: Confocal Hyperspectral Microscope

The CIMA microscope represents the next generation in confocal hyperspectral imaging. Sensitive across a broad range of wavelengths from 400 to 1700 nm, it achieves spectral resolutions as low as 0.2 nm in the visible spectrum and 0.6 nm in the infrared.

Equipped with a galvanometer head and one of the market’s fastest cameras, CIMA boasts an acquisition rate of over 300 spectra per second. Its three versatile acquisition modes—confocal hyperspectral imaging, multispectral fluorescence imaging, and emission spectroscopy—make it a powerful tool for researchers in material science, biology, and photonics.

CIMA Applications Overview

  • Simultaneously study the spatial distribution and spectral properties of complex nanomaterials such as upconverting nanoparticles and quantum dots.
  • Perform in vitro or in vivo high resolution hyperspectral microscopy.
  • Develop new sensors based on environment dependent spectral shifting of their fluorescence signal.
