HYPERSPECTRAL MICROSCOPY

RAMAN IMAGING

The global hyperspectral Raman imager (RIMA™) developed by Photon etc. offers a unique solution for rapid spectral and spatial characterization of advanced materials over large areas (up to 1 mm x 1 mm and more). By combining this rich information obtained from Raman spectroscopic fingerprints with the speed of global hyperspectral imaging, RIMA™ extends the limits of sample analysis and is a powerful non-invasive imaging modality for material (RIMA™ NANO).


LUMINESCENCE IMAGING

Photon etc’s luminescence hyperspectral imaging platforms (IMA™) are designed to provide rapid quantitative spectral analysis of advanced materials and biological samples. IMA™ provides hyperspectral imaging solutions in the visible / near-infrared range (400 nm - 1000 nm) as well as in the short-wave infrared range (900 nm - 1700 nm). Photon etc’s hyperspectral platforms provide photoluminescence (IMA™ PL), fluorescence (IMA™ FLUO) and electroluminescence (IMA™ EL) maps of large areas (up to 1 mm x 1 mm). IMA™ FLUO is designed specifically for life sciences with diodes or filtered white light excitation while IMA PL (laser excitation) and IMA™ EL are intended for materials sciences, with dedicated interfaces and software.


HYPERSPECTRAL WIDEFIELD IMAGERS

Allowing you to completely characterize your target with full-resolution images at any wavelength within 400-1000 nm (V-EOS™) or 1000-2300 nm (S-EOS™), Photon etc’s widefield hyperspectral imagers will change your view of spectral analysis. Acquisition of an optimized hyperspectral cube permits spectral analysis of each and every pixel of a full-resolution image, meaning no more fastidious XY scanning of samples or limiting exposure time of remote sensing acquisitions. Resulting in more than just an increase in efficiency, V-EOS™ and S-EOS™ provide data on both spectral and spatial content, allowing you to perform novel analysis by extending the frontiers of your most demanding applications.


TUNABLE SOURCES & FILTERS

The Laser Line Tunable Filter (LLTF) is a non-dispersive tunable bandpass filter based on volume holographic gratings. It delivers the highest signal throughput in the industry, and is also unique in that it combines very high optical density (> OD6) and outstanding out-of-band rejection with wide tunability. A single filter can be tuned from 400 nm to 1000 nm (VIS) or 1000 nm to 2300 nm (SWIR), with bandwidths (FWHM) of <2.5 nm and <5 nm respectively. Custom and extended spectral ranges (up to 2500 nm) and bandwidths (sub-nm) are also available. Photon etc’s LLTF can be coupled with a supercontinuum laser to provide a Tunable Laser Source (TLS); the LLTF is compatible with any VIS-NIR broadband source, but is optimized for Fianium’s and Leukos’ supercontinuum sources.


INFRARED CAMERAS

Extending the boundaries of industrial imaging, Photon etc. has developed affordable SWIR cameras sensitive from 850 nm to 2.5 µm. Using a sensitive InGaAs or HgCdTe (MCT) FPA, ZEPHIR™ collects images at an astounding 345 frame-per-second rate while reaching unrivalled low noise levels with the integration of a four-stage TE cooler. 


ANALYSIS SOFTWARE

PHySpec is our proprietary software that controls all Photon etc’s devices and supported cameras. It is easy to install and presents a friendly user interface. Its multithreaded architecture is a key feature when processing in parallel complex algorithms, acquiring, visualizing, importing and exporting data in real time.
